JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities

• Manage development and support of USPI financial systems including Oracle eBusiness R12
• Work with USPI business and IT leadership to define and execute a multi-year system/portfolio strategy
• Provide thought leadership on initiatives focused on modernization, application rationalization, and cost/productivity improvement
• Develop and manage team and project budgets and financials
• Manage service providers and other vendors supporting the USPI financial systems
• Provide functional and technical leadership for systems in the USPI financial system portfolio
• Work with business and IT leadership to plan and implement scheduled system enhancements and other changes to support the business
• Direct a team of employees, contractors, and outsourced support resources
• Provide effective program and project management
• Foster an environment which rewards innovation, creativity, collaboration, and individual initiative
• Collaborate with other corporate IT functions including the IT PMO, IT Management and Operations, IT Cyber Security, and other Application and Engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with Tenet corporate and IT standards and policies
• Maintain effective regulatory and compliance related processes and internal controls
• Provie effective and timely communication to business and IT leadership and end users of the financial systems
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelorsâ�� Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar
• 15 or more years of experience leading financial systems teams in a publicly traded company
• 15 years or more of experience leading Oracle E-Business development / support teams
• 10 or more years of IT management experience
• 10 years or more in the healthcare industry (desirable)
• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and infrastructure
• Strong written and verbal skills
