Physician (Interdisciplinary Intensive Care Team Chief)
The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NVVAHCS) Medicine Service - Critical Care is recruiting for the position of Interdisciplinary Intensive Care Team Chief for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Interdisciplinary Intensive Care Team Chief provides clinical, administrative, and educational leadership over medical staff (attending physicians and physicians in training, mid-level providers) assigned to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as well as ancillary staff (pharmacists, nursing, respiratory therapists, etc.). Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provide managerial leadership, planning, organization, staffing, coordination and evaluation for ICU activities.
