The Position

• This leader will serve in a dual role as Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) for Texas Health Fort Worth, and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Texas Health Azle by providing administrative oversight and assistance with hospital medical staff, physician recruitment, hospital operations and clinical programs.
• The ACMO & CMO will exemplify strong leadership skills and champion for highest quality of care and patient experience in a teaching environment. 
• This leader reports to the organization’s CMO and works collaboratively with the Director of Medical Staff Affairs, the Executive Team, and the Chairs of all Medical Staff committees to ensure all department quality and regulation standards are being met and maintained.
• This leader will be responsible for assisting in physician relations, recruitment, and leadership development initiatives. They will also be expected to assist the medical staff by engaging in the strategic, fiscal, operational, capital, quality, contracting, staffing, and credentialing challenges associated with clinical program development.
• Ideal candidates will have knowledge of continuous improvement, change management, marketing, financial analysis, and emergency preparedness strategies. They must have a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of clinical and administrative leaders.
• M.D. or D.O. Degree required. Masters or equivalent training preferred.
