ECU Health, in partnership with M3 Executive Search, is conducting a national search for a highly collaborative physician leader to serve as Chief of Cardiology. Candidates with a track record of academic scholarly work in cardiology at the level of Associate Professor or Professor are encouraged to apply.
The division is home to thirteen faculty who are supported by a talented and dedicated team of advanced practitioners, nurses, administrators, and staff. The faculty comprises a substantial part of the ECU Heart Institute, which fosters cardiovascular science an innovation across ECU Health. Cardiology faculty take a fully integrated approach to cardiovascular care and disease prevention and provide provides a full range of services including cardiac imaging, clinical cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and structural heart disease. Basic responsibilities will include maintaining a clinical practice in cardiology, supporting education of fellows and medical students, and providing mentorship to faculty. The Chief of Cardiology will join and lead a division of fellowship trained cardiologists who are supported by dedicated advanced practitioners and nursing staff.
