DESCRIPTION

Hospice of Siouxland has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician who is passionate about end-of-life care. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatric Medicine is preferred. The right candidate will have two years to obtain Hospice and Palliative Cate certification.

The medical director has overall responsibility for medical direction of the care and treatment of patients and their families rendered by the hospice and palliative care team and shall consult with the patients attending physician. In addition to the clinical services, the medical director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Hospice and Palliative Care Programs. The right candidate will join two Advanced Practice Providers. Medical Staff Membership at Unity Point St. Lukes and Mercy One Siouxland.
