In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Head of the Division of Subspecialty Pediatrics
Department of Pediatrics, MSK
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Head of the Division of Subspecialty Pediatrics.
Oversight of all non-oncology pediatric subspecialists within the Department of Pediatrics, including direct reports from:
Oversight of Cornell subspecialty services and staff appointments to ensure quality of care, performance and identification of research and collaborative opportunities, including:
Strategic planning and programmatic development for future sustained access to pediatric subspecialists
Development and oversight of external collaborations and relationships with primary care providers and other pediatric programs to drive to strategic imperatives of Department
Oversight of departmental quality and safety
Liaise with DigITs and actively participate in advancing electronic clinical systems development
Direct report and supervision of medical directors to align clinical operations to overall departmental strategic imperatives, and to optimize care delivery model
Close collaboration with Service Chiefs and Chair to operational optimized care delivery across the pediatric platform
