Job Duties
As a result of continued growth in our market, we are currently recruiting a BC/BE Gastroenterologist with management experience to join our team within the eastern region of Geisinger's service area.
This position would include oversight and leadership of a 12-physician practice which services two hospitals (Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger Community Medical Center), two multi-specialty clinic spaces, and a new state of the art ambulatory surgical center. The Associate Director will work with current leadership in the eastern region along with system leadership to further the growth and strategic objectives of the Division of Gastroenterology.

- Enjoy ample opportunity for professional growth including teaching fellows, residents and medical students, as well as participation in clinical and endoscopic research as faculty of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
- Fully integrate with our robust electronic health record (EPIC)
- Work closely with mature multi-disciplinary teams; including Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease with imbedded pharmacists on each.
