Providence Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide clinical oversight, strategy and vision of the Women's and Children's Clinical Institute (WCI) in Irvine, California, while also maintaining accountability across the entire Southern California region. This is a 20-hour per week leadership role where you will assist in the execution of strategic plans, policies, clinical pathways and protocols for the WCI while simultaneously building, strengthening, and sustaining relationships with physicians and relevant clinicians, the local hospital administration, and the medical executive teams to implement new clinical practices, care pathways, programs and services for the institute. Ideal candidates will have 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience, multi-site regionally integrated health system experience, physician and medical group alignment and integration experience, and experience with clinical trials and grant development. • 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience is preferred
• Experience in multi-site regionally integrated health systems, medical group alignment, clinical trials and grant development highly preferred
• Must have an MD and be board-certified in Obstetrics in Gynecology, or Pediatrics or Subspecialty
• Degree in healthcare management, medical informatics/analytics or business is preferred
