Providence Medical Group (PMG) in Medford, Oregon is offering an exciting opportunity to a physician leader to support PMG-South specialty clinics. The position will be engaged in the areas of clinical strategy, provider leadership development, recruitment, onboarding of new providers, HR support to physician leads/CMD's, and supporting quality and peer committees. Specialty services include neurology, vascular surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, physiatry, sports medicine, pulmonary, and infectious disease. The AMD of Specialty Services partners with local and regional leadership on the strategic direction for the medical group. As part of this role, the Area Medical Director of Specialty Services will focus on developing key relationships at a regional and local level given the matrixed environment and complexities of healthcare systems. The Area Medical Director will help facilitate greater integration across the medical group (i.e. medical neighborhood) as well as the hospital to increase quality, decrease the total cost of care, and improve the patient experience. Additionally, they support provider wellbeing and advocates for providers within the medical group.
