Chief, Division of Gynecologic Oncology
Penn State College of Medicine
WittKieffer has partnered with Penn State College of Medicine (PSCOM) on their search for the new Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
Located in one of Pennsylvania's fastest growing regions, Hershey has a metropolitan service area of approximately 400,000 people. Surrounded by diverse communities such as Harrisburg, Lebanon, and Lancaster, and less than 95 miles from Philadelphia and Baltimore, it provides residents and visitors with employment, and cultural and recreational opportunities that are attractive to people of all backgrounds.
PSCOM and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (MSHMC) have served as central Pennsylvania’s only university medical center and medical school for 50 years. Founded in 2001, the Penn State Cancer Institute, located on MSHMC campus, is the region’s only Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited comprehensive cancer center, with access to internationally recognized cancer specialists and scientists delivering a multidisciplinary approach and advanced medical technology.
PSCOM seeks candidates with prior leadership experience within a Division of Gynecologic Oncology with strong interpersonal and communication skills to complement a passion for excellence and achievement. Candidates must hold a medical doctorate degree, subspecialty-certification in Gynecologic Oncology from ABOG and possess qualifications for appointment to Associate Professor at Penn State.
The successful candidate will be an individual who has a passion for providing outstanding care, and a desire to improve systems and processes to maximize efficiency. The Chief will engage faculty and hold them accountable to the academic priorities of the Division and continue to provide excellent care to the people of Central Pennsylvania.
Interested parties should direct all nominations and resumes to Lisa Lewis or through the WittKieffer Candidate Portal here. All inquiries and nominations will be held in the utmost confidence.
