Your day.

As a Vascular Surgeon, youâ™ll work with two other Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day youâ™ll collaborate with three Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, MAs, and front office support.

• You would practice at St. Maryâ™s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO


• Youâ™ll be on call one out of every four weeks


• Practice in a spacious clinic environment, with a state-of-the-art Heart & Vascular Center featuring two brand new Hybrid ORs


• Substantial patient catchment area â“ St. Maryâ™s Medical Center is the only acute care center between Denver and Salt Lake City


• Turnkey practice environment with plenty of administrative and clinical support

In addition to vascular surgery, we're also looking for a leader to shape our vascular program, and also serve as the Medical Director for Western Colorado Medical Group's surgical specialties:

• Provide leadership, management and coaching for providers toward the attainment of the clinical, quality, patient experience, productivity, and strategic growth goals


• Be involved in hiring of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants


• Work collaboratively with the Regional VP of Practice Operations, Practice Administrators and other members of the management team in the development of strategic plans, quality programs, practice transformation, and initiatives


• This is a hybrid position with .7 FTE dedicated to clinical practice, and .3 FTE toward administrative leadership 

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine


• Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery


• At least 5 years of previous experience as a Vascular Surgeon


• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one


• Ability to successfully complete St. Maryâ™s credentialing process
