The Gynecologic Oncology Division of SUNY Upstate Medical University, Department of OB/GYN is seeking applications for an experienced and outstanding physician, committed to an academic career and clinical research, to be the next Division Director. The successful candidate will join an established division of 4 Gynecologic Oncologists with 2 office locations as part of the Upstate Cancer Center.

We are seeking an individual Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills with practice management experience. Clinical expertise including radical and robotic surgery, chemotherapy and medical management of gynecologic cancers are required. Successful completion of investigator-initiated research and experience in directing funded clinical trials is desired. Dedication to medical education with experience in direction of education programs preferred.
This position will hold a rank of Associate Professor or Professor dependent upon qualifications and experience. Must have NPI and be eligible to participate with Medicare and Medicaid programs. Appointment is contingent on obtaining and maintaining a New York State medical license.
