Your Role:

The Family Resource Director role consists of providing oversight for planning, developing, and executing the ongoing program(s) that impact a significant segment of the organization. The ideal candidate will be an established leader who is responsible for leading Family Resource Center initiatives and collaborating with department and hospital leadership in moving forward programs that support patients, families, and family-centered care. This position leads the entire work of the Family Resource Center and will interact with patients and families and hospital colleagues daily. This position interacts with community organizations and individuals on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership in the creation, coordination, and execution of departmental programs.
• Provides budgetary management of departmental programs.
• Provides training and guidance for individuals supporting the programs.
• Guides and promotes growth and expansion of departmental programs.
• Designs surveys and collects, analyzes, and reports data
• Enrolls families in the healthcare patient portal
• Manages all human resource functions
• Develops and maintains community donor relations
• Establishes relationships with community resources to collaborate in serving families
• Oversees annual memorial service and bereavement support program

Department Summary:

The Family Resource Center provides patient education and support resources to families with a child or children with a pediatric medical condition and/or disability. We provide customized patient education packets, a consumer health library, a family business center, emergency clothing and other services to patients and families.
