Planned Parenthood (Southern New England) is seeking a Medical Director to oversee its expansion of clinical care services, specifically primary care service, HIV care and gender affirming care.

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) is an affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), the nationwide federation of 49 not-for-profit, independent affiliates that provide education, reproductive rights advocacy and sexual and reproductive healthcare to patients and communities across the country for over 100 years. Based in New Haven, Ct. and providing services across Connecticut and Rhode Island, the affiliate is deeply committed to its mission: to provide high quality health care, education and advocacy to advance equity and protect the fundamental right to sexual health and reproductive freedom for all.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership team and clinical leaders, the Medical Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and delivery of an expanded scope of clinical care services, with the aim of ensuring high quality care; care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, equitable, and accessible.  The Medical Director also supports the Chief Medical Officer in oversight of all clinical services.

The direct reports to the Medical Director include:

• Director, Primary Care and Occupational Health
• Senior Program Manager and Care Navigation Team
• Gender Affirming Care Services
