Vice President of Supply Chain
Children’s Wisconsin
Children’s Wisconsin is a $1.6B, not-for-profit pediatric health system and the region’s only independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. In Milwaukee, and throughout the state, Children’s provides kids and their families a wide range of care and support – everything from routine care for ear aches or sore throats to life saving advances and treatment options to enhanced mental and behavioral health therapies.
Children’s Wisconsin is seeking their next Vice President of Supply Chain. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Supply Chain (VPSC) will lead the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction and management of all supply chain functions within the organization. The VPSC will be the architect for planning, developing, implementing and transforming the supply chain process. This leader will work collaboratively with clinical and operational leadership to drive best practices and streamline utilization and overall value.
Children’s Wisconsin seeks a highly motivated executive with leadership experience in a sophisticated supply chain organization, ideally in healthcare. This individual must be a skilled strategic thinker and communicator with a high EQ and a strong track record of partnering successfully with a range of stakeholders including physicians, executive leaders, front line staff as well as patient and family advisors. Deep understanding of how to optimize supply chain functions and implement innovative approaches will be critically important.
The successful candidate will be a servant leader who is comfortable leading through influence and driving consensus in Children’s Wisconsin’s highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess business acumen, a facility with data and relationship-building skills to successfully partner and negotiate with key stakeholder groups, both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have experience establishing a compelling and shared strategy, and be able to articulate for others the supply chain function’s connection to patient care and to the business. This leader should also have experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
Children’s Wisconsin is headquartered in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee). Relocation to southeast Wisconsin is required for this role.
