The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders of Emory in Atlanta, Georgia seeks an interested, enthusiastic, and collegial faculty member to join the Hematology Division as the Sidney F. Stein Chair in Hemophilia and Hemostasis. This endowed chair is designed to support a physician-investigator at the Associate Professor or Professor level who is focused on the current and future care of adult patients with inherited bleeding disorders. This will be accomplished through participation in the multidisciplinary comprehensive care clinic, outpatient hematology practice, and inpatient hematology consultative service at Emory University Hosptial, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and/or Grady Memorial Hospital.The recipient of the endowed Chair will also have the opportunity to teach and mentor trainees of Emory University School of Medicine and support the Division and Centers overall growth in hemostasis research. Candidates should have a M.D. or equivalent degree, be board certified in hematology, eligible for licensure in GA, and have a track record of clinical and research excellence.
