MultiCare Health System is seeking an inpatient Medical Director specializing in geriatric psychiatry for a growing psychiatric inpatient service located at Auburn Medical Center. You will help lead the team and oversee the Geriatric division, which consists of a 38-bed inpatient geropsych facility and an additional 20-bed unit dedicated to adult psychiatric voluntary and involuntary admissions. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop a growing inpatient psychiatric program and to unite with the largest behavioral health organization in the South Puget Sound region.Requirements:
Three plus years of leadership experience providing and managing mental health services to the geriatric population
MD degree with Board eligibility in psychiatry
Completion of an APA-approved residency in psychiatry
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
