System Section Chief, of InovaCares and Laborists
As Inova Health System is expanding our Women's Health Services leadership team, we are seeking dynamic OB/GYN to lead as the System Section Chief of InovaCares and Inova Laborist at Inova Women's Hospital within Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. This position would consist of a 0.8 clinical and 0.2 admin FTE.
Board eligible/board certified in OB/GYN
Hold or able to obtain a Virginia state medical license and full Inova privileges
Foley placements for outpatient cervical ripening
Placement of Cytotec on HRP for admitted induction patients
Support of the Spinning babies program with imaging
Transition to a "hospitalists" an InovaCares "practice" model
Health equity and disparities program - screening efforts
Clinic schedules and call coverage for hospital
Education and simulation training of nursing and physician staff for emergencies
Physician satisfaction and experience (i.e. those using ER services)
Formalized handoffs with ATC, HRP, and L&D
CS rate reduction
Behavioral health screening and referrals of patients for treatment
My Chart compliance
Safety officer for IFWH with documentation of safety rounds and correction of deviations
