Physician (Chief Medical Officer - Resident Training Director)
The Chief Medical Officer/Resident Training Director at the West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) is responsible for all clinical, administrative and educational aspects of the Primary Care operations at the assigned CBOC. A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be authorized for a highly qualified candidate. The Chief Medical Officer has overall responsibility for planning, evaluation and management of patient care aligned teams (PACT) and primary care physician (PCP) operations within the assigned CBOC in order to ensure fidelity to the PACT model, facilitate an environment of collaboration and effective care coordination for care delivered by the program and overall delivery of health care within the facility.
