Physician (Associate Chief of Staff Emergency Medicine)
The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership in the interdisciplinary delivery of urgent and emergent medical health care services and for the organization and delivery of these services for the VA Providence Healthcare System (VPHS); and is accountable for ensuring quality and cost-effective care. The Emergency Medicine Service Line is aligned under the Chief of Staff. Reviews/performs/provides duties and responsibilities of a medical doctor. Demonstrates leadership in interpreting and supporting the VISN mission, vision and values, while operating in accordance with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) policies, facility and VISN policies, and standards of federal professional and accrediting agencies external to VHA. Adheres to the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulation
