Permanent Change Station(PCS) expenses are not authorized. This position is a direct report to the Chief of Staff. The incumbent is responsible for setting overall goals for the Social Work and Mental Health Services that comply and support Veterans Administration(VA), Veterans Health Administration(VHA), Veterans Integrated Service Network(VISN 7) and the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center strategic goals and objectives. The incumbent exercises exceptional latitude in the planning, design, implementation, accomplishment, ongoing evaluation and measurement of program responsibilities and is responsible for clinical oversight and administrative management of the entire Behavioral Health area that includes the Mental Health and Social Work Services, their staff and their respective patient care, assessment and treatment programs.
