The White River Junction, VT Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a full-time Chief of Hematology/Oncology physician to lead the clinical services in our inpatient and outpatient settings. Lead the clinical, educational, and research missions of the section. Core duties include attending in clinic, oversight of chemotherapy, rounding on hospitalized patients, writing prescription medications, providing consultative service to referring providers, and performance of procedures to include bone marrow biopsy and aspirations. Provide clinical supervision of fellows, residents and students from our prestigious Dartmouth affiliate. Candidates must be eligible for Dartmouth faculty appointment. Protected research time is available for qualified candidates! Very limited on-call! Requires BC/BE in Oncology; BC/BE in Hematology highly favorable.
