DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Harper College is seeking an experienced professional for the Director of Nursing position. The Director of Nursing assists, manages, and supports day-to-day nursing operations for the Associate Degree Nursing, Licensed Practical Nursing, and the Certified Nursing Assisted Programs. The successful candidate will serve as Nursing Administrator with the authority and responsibilities defined by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB), and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) to direct the nursing curriculum and program outcomes. You will work collaboratively with regulatory and accrediting agencies in complying with standards and requirements for curriculum, faculty, and students. You will also collaborate with the Dean and nursing department to assure a dynamic and student-centered class schedule that assures students can complete program of study efficiently. Requirements:
