The Veterans Integrated System Network (VISN) Chief Health Informatics Officer (CHIO) is a VISN based leadership position located in VISN 4. The VISN Chief HIO is under the general supervision of the VISN Chief Medical Officer (CMO). This focus of this position is to optimize effectiveness of patient care delivery and systems management in support of the organization's mission and goals.
