We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a System Vice President Ancillary Services position located at our headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSO), the System VP of Ancillary Services will create a system connectedness among ancillary services including Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Respiratory Care through a matrixed partnership between AdventHealth Clinical and Strategic Supply Chain. The breadth of this role is applicable to all settings and will include ambulatory, acute care, and retail settings. The System VP will work closely with both the CCO and CSO.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
â¢Create connectivity, cohesiveness, and standardization among all regions within the clinical ancillary service areas to align and ensure consistent care is provided to all patients regardless of point of entry
â¢Initiate and design strategic direction across each ancillary service, advocate for system support, implement strategic plans in conjunction with operational owners
â¢Leverage existing leadership in all settings to generate engagement and scale strategies across the organization in a systematic approach to reduce variation
â¢Design cross-divisional and cross-disciplined governance network across each ancillary service to oversee decisions and performance throughout the organization
â¢Work collaboratively with physician, clinical, and administrative constituents to generate input into new opportunities and implement system wide strategies
â¢Proactively investigate organization opportunities in broader strategic partnerships and/or JV relationships as it relates specifically to the ancillary services; determines and recommends partnerships for future engagements
â¢Lead system level negotiations with key strategic partners and ensures accountability throughout the partnership including alignment through contracting, purchasing, logistics, and developing external relationships
â¢Develop and implement strategic plans and short/long term goals throughout the system ancillary service lines. Integrate plans and programs with overall organizationâ™s strategic plan and mission.
â¢Identify strategic synergies and facilitate cross-functional business focus, planning and data analysis, including providing business intelligence, market research and analytics, scenario planning, modeling and forecasting to clinical leadership in support of growth opportunities and strategic initiatives
â¢Promote communication and collaboration of interdisciplinary processes that focus on safety and best-practice outcomes for patients across the continuum
â¢Support and facilitate leadership development and succession planning for all team members. Actively mentor others into leadership roles.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Â·Knowledge of clinical practices and processes, legal and regulatory requirements and mandates, and the ability to gather and evaluate data and outcome results to use in planning hospital operations, budgets, and process improvement.
Â·Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports, and professional correspondence.
Â·Exceptional people management, leadership skills, and the capacity to relate to people in a manner that wins confidence and establishes support.

Â·Strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the position.
Â·Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, EXPERIENCE:
Â·Bachelorâ™s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent; Masterâ™s degree preferred
Â·Minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare
Â·Minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting
