Although the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is primarily responsible for clinical operational performance in the acute setting, they will function in a coordinating manner across the continuum of care in their respective Prisma Health market to ensure the delivery of coordinated and collaborative health care that enhances quality outcomes, high reliability, efficiency, and enhances the patient experience. The CCO will work collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer and other leaders in a manner that ensures high quality, cost-effective, highly reliable, efficient and innovative services and programs.
The CCO will serve as a leader for clinical strategy and program development decisions in support of Prisma Health’s mission and strategic priorities. The CCO will work in conjunction with leadership to optimize efficiencies, growth, and drive the delivery of superior care through continuous improvement and data-informed solutions. The CCO will be responsible for throughput, operational efficiency, financial performance, and program implementation and operationalization. The CCO will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of any and all physician and clinical services supplied to the acute care environment as well as the payment for such medical director fees or salaries.
Demonstrated progressive clinical leadership experience in a health system, payer, consulting or related organization is required.
