The W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist for a section chief (Inpatient) opportunity. The selected candidate will plan, implement, direct and provide clinical and administrative oversight for the inpatient units and residential programs. The ideal candidate should possess proven leadership skills, including problem solving skills, conflict resolution abilities, task prioritization, project management and efficiency improvement experience. Academic affiliations are maintained with Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina. More than 200 medical residents receive part of their training at this facility every year. U.S. Citizenship, a full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license, and BC/BE in Psychiatry are required.
