MetroHealth is seeking a dynamic, team oriented and innovative physician for our Correctional Health Care program at the Cuyahoga County Correctional Facility in downtown Cleveland. The successful candidate will need to have strong clinical, communication and problem- solving skills. S/he will need to work effectively as both a team member and team leader and have a passion for providing patient-centered medical and psychosocial care. S/he will join the medical director and clinical support staff providing comprehensive health care to the patients of the Cuyahoga County Corrections system. Qualified Physician applicants should be board certified or board prepared for Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
MetroHealth Medical Center sees approximately 30,000 patients per year at the Correctional facility in downtown Cleveland; we provide onsite ultrasound, digital imaging and telemedicine for several specialties. Our three community EDs are located around Cuyahoga County with associated medical office buildings, radiologic, and laboratory support.
