PHYSICIANS - PSYCHIATRY AND ADDICTION CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
The Department of Psychiatry at The MetroHealth System, a major teaching hospital of Case Western Reserve University, is seeking two physicians, (1) a board-certified adult psychiatrist and (2) a board certified physician with experience in the treatment of addictions, who will provide clinical care for adult patients at our Cuyahoga County Correctional site. This is an opportunity for academic and career development at the largest medical research institution in Ohio and a top 1% ranked hospital. The Correctional Health Care department has a close collaboration with the Department of Bioethics at MetroHealth and offers a wonderful opportunity for collaborative publishing and research. Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications: Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, non-restricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio, board certification or board eligibility in adult primary care or emergency medicine, federal DEA registration number, current basic life support certification from the AHA, and ability to meet specific credential and privileging requirements to be determined by MetroHealth. Experience with or certification of Correctional Healthcare preferred.
