::The scope of practice of the Nurse Practitioner shall be evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients. In particular, the treatments offered consist of insight, cognitive and supportive psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, health teaching, case management, discharge planning, and the prescribing of medication. Prescribes medication and consistently utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care to hospital patients. Revises medication and nursing care plans as needed in conjunction with program director and treatment planning goals. Participates in treatment team meetings as directed by Medical Director. Monitors medications and dosages and adjusts as needed. Follows hospital nursing policies and procedures in prescribing medications and treatments.
