The Senior Vice President, China Operations, will serve as a senior hospital executive, working on-site with partner hospitals in China. This individual will play a critical role in operating the PreferUS hospitals to a western management standard. The individual will assimilate western methodologies into the China side hospital operations and will contribute to the ongoing development of the overall PreferUS master plan in China. Additionally, it is expected that this individual will assume roles of increasing responsibility and complexity as PreferUS expands its operations in China.
Bachelor degree in business or healthcare management related area. Master degree is preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of healthcare experience with US or US standards-based international organizations, in hospital settings; at least 5 years’ experience as executive hospital management role.
Great leadership skills.
Excellent communication skill; has experience in mentoring/coaching staff.
Knowledge of total quality management and continuous quality improvement.
Flexible, ability to adopt new environment and work in a different culture.
Work in China full time for a three-year term.
Mandarin language skill is not required, but a plus
