LifeBridge Health, one of Central Maryland’s most comprehensive and highly respected providers of health-related services seeks the founding entrepreneurial and dynamic leader of LifeBridge Health Physician Enterprise (LHPE). LHPE is a 900-person, 400 physician multi-specialty medical group. This inaugural role will be responsible to integrate the health system’s employed medical staffs, coordinate strategies for continued growth and lead clinical alignment to enable LifeBridge Health to differentiate itself in a highly competitive marketplace.
LifeBridge Health is an approximately $2 billion health care system; nationally recognized and accredited for its commitment to the highest level of quality patient care. The health system includes four hospitals (soon to be five), a top 20 performing Accountable Care Organization (ACO), a 900-member Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) and a portfolio of complementary healthcare companies uniquely positioning this system to effect quality and value across the continuum of care.
Reporting to the President/COO of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Senior VP of LifeBridge Health, Dr. Jonathan Ringo, and in collaboration with the Executive Vice President of LifeBridge Health, Brian White, the LifeBridge Health, Physician Enterprise, Chief Operating Officer (COO), will build a culture of collaboration and establish LHPE’s role within the health system. This leader will serve as a catalyst for clinical integration, enhancing access, improving practice standards while reducing variability of care across the enterprise.
LHPE requires an innovative, vibrant leader, with clinical credibility and a proven track record for aligning faculty and community-based medical groups into a single delivery system. He/She will have a distinct vision for the medical group to inspire others and deliver performance. We seek a transparent, proactive and effective communicator who can comfortably interact with physicians of various backgrounds and administrators at multiple levels. This leader will formulate an approach to organizational structure and systems to underpin a high-performing multi-specialty group practice. The new COO will support physicians and advanced practice providers in their professional development, successful adaptation to industry changes and with new models of care delivery.
Given the strengths and vibrancy of the physicians served by LifeBridge Health, the opportunity to build a new organizational model to serve the physician community represents an outstanding leadership platform for a driven, collaborative leader.
