Position Highlights

• You would enjoy a schedule of 14-16 shifts/month (pro-rated for less FTE), including some afternoon swing shifts but no full overnight shifts.
• Hospitalist care: The Medical Hospitalist Team is well supported with strong relationships with the ICU, ER, specialists and hospice. Our team has deep ties to Washington State University and is a training site for the new WSU internal medicine residency program: teaching is part of the hospitalist role. There is also an option to work as a virtual hospitalist in our hospital at home model.

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain by employment date
• Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain by employment date
• Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine
• EMR proficient
• Bold verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience
• 1+ years' experience post-training
• Experience with complex geriatric patients

The salary range for this role is $229,500 to $378,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
